An animated lesson on Dead Stuff from John Moore, released on TED-Ed

Aptly following our most recent post by Dr. Dave Swift that launched the new EcoPress Education category, we have a wonderful example of creative science education with a lesson from Dr. John Moore on “Dead stuff: the secret ingredient in our food chain”, created in collaboration with talented animators through TED-Ed and released just a few days ago.

TED-Ed is a “free educational website for teachers and learners…with a commitment to creating lessons worth sharing.” Go to the main TED-Ed page to view Dr. Moore’s entire lesson, where you can Think, Dig Deeper, and Discuss!

What do you think about this lesson? Let us know in the comments below.
